Alumix DIY Basic reflective foil insulation kit
Alumix DIY Basic is our entry-level kit for homeowners and self-builders. It is the same double-sided pure aluminium foil insulation we supply to trade customers, packed in shorter rolls that fit in a car and supplied with eyelets and cable ties so it can be fixed without special tools.
Cut it with household scissors or a utility knife, then tie or staple it into place. No protective clothing is needed because there is no glass fibre to irritate skin or airways.

Delivery was incredibly fast, ordered today and it arrived the next day. Well packed too.

The first order was not enough so I ordered a second time. It cuts the heat to a degree. My roof is low so it cannot do its best work, but I am happy with it. It used to be too hot to stay in the house, and now I can sleep in there.

Very good. I did not measure whether the roll really is 10 metres, because the listing was ticked as the 8 metre option, but I think that was a mistake.

If a relative asked me, I would tell them to go for a thicker grade, but that does not mean this is not good. It helps a lot. My roof is low so the heat was doubled, and after fitting it the result is satisfying.
