Alumix SILVER 6mm BASIC/FR Insulation

Alumix Silver 6mm reflective foil insulation (Silver / FR)

Alumix Silver 6mm is a double-sided reflective foil insulation built around pure aluminium foil laminated to both faces, which reflects up to 98% of the radiant heat striking it. It is one of the most widely specified products in the Alumix range for roofs, walls and ceilings.

Because reflective insulation works by turning heat back rather than absorbing it, Silver 6mm keeps roof spaces measurably cooler in summer while adding almost no weight to the structure. It is supplied in Basic and fire-retardant (FR) versions so it can be matched to local building requirements.

Key benefits

• Reflects up to 98% of radiant heat from both faces.

• Does not absorb water, so it will not hold damp or encourage mould.
• Lightweight, easy to cut and quick to transport and install.
• Long service life and excellent value per square metre.
